Design Applications
Design applications are projects that ASDL has been contracted to complete. This is where the methods developed and discovered have been applied to but at the same time are the motivation for creating new methods were the state-of-the-art is not satisfactory.
These have been categorized by the lead system being designed.
  • Aircraft Design  ( 3 items )
    This area contains all the projects related to research conducted in the support of aircraft design.
  • Propulsion and Engine Design  ( 3 items )
    This area has been one of ASDL's fortes for over a decade. Research has been conducted for NASA Glenn as well as private industry partners.
  • Naval Systems Design  ( 1 items )
    This category concentrates on design applications of surface as well as underwater systems. The applications range from torpedo design to integrated reconfigurable intelligent systems.
  • UAV Design  ( 2 items )
    This category concentrates on applications for the design of Unmanned Air Vehicles.
