Dr. Scott Duncan joined the ASDL in February 2008 as a Research Engineer II.  Details about his PhD work and earlier publications can be found here. 

Projects he is currently involved in (as of June 2008) include:

• requirements analysis for ground vehicles, supported by modeling and simulation,
• assessment of the value of smart electricity grids.

Projects in which he is acting as an observer, expecting to take an expanded role in the future, include:

• analysis of how to strategically introduce sustainable energy options into electricity grids for specific geographic regions,
• optimization and uncertainty analysis for combined-cycle power plants.
