Miffy was born and raised in North Carolina, where she attended Duke University and earned her BA in Classical Studies. She has been at Georgia Tech with the School of Mechanical Engineering since 2013 and came to ASDL as a Financial Manager in January, 2023. In this capacity she supports the lab with post award and grant management and various other financial needs.
