ASDL Master’s student Keven Yeh has been selected for the 2024 Class of Matthew Isakowitz Fellows. This fellowship is a summer internship and executive mentorship program aimed at inspiring the next generation of commercial spaceflight leaders.

Now in its seventh year and totaling 200 current and alumni Fellows, the Matthew Isakowitz Fellowship Program provides exceptional college juniors, seniors, and graduate students with an incredible career-building experience—including paid internships at cutting-edge commercial space companies, one-on-one mentorship from notable aerospace leaders, and a memorable networking summit. The program recognizes students for academic excellence, relevant experience, and a demonstrated passion for innovation, entrepreneurship, and commercial space.

“The Isakowitz Fellowship is a great program that encourages and inspires students interested in space,” said ASDL Director Prof. Dimitri Mavris. “We are proud that Keven has been selected for the 2024 class and know he will make the most of this incredible experience.”

Before joining ASDL as a GRA, Keven earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at the United States Naval Academy and then served in the U.S. Navy as a Diving Officer and Combat Missile Division Officer. After leaving the Navy, Keven worked for nearly two years in liquid rocket engine development at Vast (previously called Launcher until its acquisition in 2023).
