Leon Chen, PhD student in the Aerospace Systems Design Laboratory, has been recognized as an honoree of the Georgia Tech Alumni Association’s 2024 Class of 40 Under 40. This program highlights the work of Yellow Jackets around the globe whose innovative spirits inspire us all. Collectively, the honorees are building roads, shaping the future of nuclear energy, advancing space exploration, improving outcomes in individuals with mobility impairments, creating inventions that change the world, and impacting every aspect of life.

Chen received his Master’s in Aerospace Engineering from GT in May 2022. He is currently working at the Aerospace Corporation as the NASA ISS/CDFF ECLS Subsystem Manager while he pursues his PhD.
