On December 13, the Aerospace Systems Design Laboratory (ASDL) held its Graduate Recognition Ceremony for Fall 2024 graduates. Recognized during the ceremony were 6 students who completed their PhDs and 56 students who finished their Master’s degree. Since 1997, ASDL has conferred 1,410 degrees: 293 PhDs and 1,112 MS degrees.

ASDL Director Professor Dimitri Mavris gave the keynote speech during the Georgia Tech PhD commencement ceremony on 12 December. He was bestowed this honor as part of the Class of 1934 Distinguished Professor Award he received earlier this year.

Bilal Mufti, one of the PhD conferees from ASDL, gave the reflection during the Georgia Tech PhD commencement ceremony. In addition, ASDL Master’s student Daamini Visaalaakshi gave the reflection at the College of Engineering graduation event.

ASDL is proud of its graduates and wishes them luck in the next stage of their journey!
